A vibrant classroom, attentive students, learning comes to life in this educational space.
As part of its community activities, the ACCÈS-Santé Clinic in Limbé recently launched an important initiative in collaboration with the National Maurice Dartigue High School in Lombard. Two training sessions were organized, specifically targeting students from NSI and NS2 classes. These educational sessions focused on an essential theme: "Mental health and chronic diseases in school settings."

The first training session targeted NSI and NSII students, covering various aspects of mental health. Students had the opportunity to learn more about how to maintain good mental health, recognize signs of emotional distress, and find ways to cope with stress and anxiety that may accompany school life. They were also encouraged to seek help and speak openly about their concerns.
The second training session, also intended for NSI and NSII students, emphasized chronic diseases. Students were able to gain a deeper understanding of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, which can affect their daily life. They learned to recognize risk factors and adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors to prevent these diseases. The importance of balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and stress management was emphasized.
In summary, the recent training sessions on mental health and chronic diseases at this school are a testament to the power of education and prevention. This teaching extends beyond the classroom and into the lives of students, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to make informed health decisions. This is a significant step toward a healthier and more balanced future for these growing young minds.
