On April 11, 2024, a training session on stress, entrepreneurship, and mental health was organized at the Nazarene Church premises in Limbé. This event, designed to help participants overcome the challenges posed by the current crisis in Haiti, brought together 58 participants aged 10 to 60 years old. By emphasizing mental health and entrepreneurship, this session aimed to strengthen participants' capacity to manage stress and activate their entrepreneurial potential.

Participants:
The participants, numbering 58, were aged 10 to 60 years old. They face vulnerable conditions such as widespread insecurity, economic precarity, histories of stress, emotional vulnerability, adaptation difficulties, and limited access to healthcare.

Date and Context:
The session took place on April 11, 2024, in the context of the current socio-economic and political crisis in Haiti. This training aimed to help participants overcome the situation so they could better support beneficiaries. The topic was framed as follows: "Stress, Entrepreneurship, and Mental Health: What is the Connection?"

Activity:
The 2-hour training covered several key points: illustration of the social, economic, and political crisis, definition of health and mental health according to the WHO, Abraham Maslow's pyramid of well-being, psychosomatic and somatopsychic relationships, differences between psychological disorder and psychological problem, understanding post-traumatic stress, anxiety and depression, stress management techniques in times of crisis, definition of entrepreneurship, motivation, activation of potential and creativity.

Location:
The activity took place at the Nazarene Church premises in Limbé, with the participation of a group of young people from the church working in the field of entrepreneurship.

Organization:
This training was made possible through contact with the president of the entrepreneurs' club of the Nazarene Church in Limbé. Two in-person meetings and several telephone follow-ups were necessary to organize this activity.

Engagement and Participation:
Participants actively participated in the training and expressed their gratitude for this initiative, emphasizing the importance of such training for their personal and professional development.

Rationale for the Initiative:
The training aimed to address stress and entrepreneurship in the context of the current crisis. The participants, mostly young entrepreneurs, benefited from this session to better understand mental health and discover coping strategies to overcome the crisis. This should enable them to better interpret their emotions and adopt appropriate behaviors during times of crisis.

Value of the Session:
This training helped participants better understand their emotions and establish a connection between their situation and their feelings. They also acquired skills to manage stress and activate their entrepreneurial potential, thereby improving their quality of life and well-being.

This activity contributed to promoting mental health in the community and strengthening relations between ACCES-Santé and the entrepreneurs' club of the Nazarene Church in Limbé. By increasing the visibility of the clinic and consolidating ties with the community, this initiative paves the way for future collaborations. The next step is to continue these trainings and organize similar activities to support community members during times of crisis.
